Shoot, shoot, shoot. You can always delete photos when you get home but you might not ever get a chance to come back here and take more. Distinguishing which shots are good can also be a struggle at the time because the glare of the sun makes it hard to see the camera screen.
Make sure there’s nothing but you, your props and the stark landscape in your photos. You don’t want any cars or people to take away from your naturally beautiful photos.
Be as creative and outrageous as possible with your photos. Small props such as toy animals, bottles and saucepans that can make your photo funny and alternative are a must.
It can be very difficult to get a good photo when you’re holding the camera. Unless you have very steady hands, rest the camera on the ground for a better, in-focus shot.
For perspective photos, the further back you go the smaller the object will appear. However, avoid going too far back as the farther you go, the harder it is to keep everything in focus.
